“Montreal Canadiens To Honor Carey Price at Bell Centre”

Carey Price, the long-standing goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens, is set to receive recognition at the Bell Centre for his impending induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The Canadiens officially announced that Price will be honored at the Bell Centre on Nov. 10 following his Hall of Fame induction scheduled for the day prior.

Price will join the prestigious ranks of the organization as the 62nd member to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame and will also be commemorated in the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, which celebrates former players who have achieved excellence in the sport.

Having dedicated his entire 15-year career to the Canadiens, Price holds numerous franchise records, including most games played and victories as a goaltender, with a remarkable 251 goals-against average and .917 save percentage over 712 games.

The celebration in Price’s honor will coincide with a game against the Minnesota Wild.

Price, a seven-time all-star and the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft, has left an indelible mark on the Canadiens organization.

The Canadiens will commence their pre-season activities on Sept. 19, followed by the start of the regular season on Sept. 29 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
