However, my recent spa treatment in an unexpected location in Liverpool revealed a different and more effective approach to inducing relaxation.
To my surprise, the therapists at this Liverpool spa were exceptional at helping me achieve a state of deep relaxation, allowing all my stress to dissipate. It turned out to be the most remarkable spa experience I’ve ever had.
Located just a short walk from Liverpool Lime Street station on Church Street, I discovered a large Lush store, which houses its own spa on the top floor. This hidden gem offers incredible treatments that I had never known about before.
Opting for a facial treatment, I was initially hesitant due to a negative past experience. Nevertheless, the ‘Rewilding’ treatment at the Lush Spa exceeded all my expectations and left me feeling rejuvenated.
The 50-minute sculpting facial massage, accompanied by a personalized consultation, involved a combination of hot and cold therapy, facial massage techniques, and lymphatic massage to revitalize and sculpt the skin. The treatment featured a unique soundtrack of nature folk songs, enhancing the overall experience.
Crafted by Lush’s spa development team, this facial treatment aims to deliver visible results with minimal skin interference, ensuring a glowing complexion without any adverse reactions, even for those with sensitive skin like mine.
The treatment protocol included a series of steps such as a double cleanse using Lush’s signature cleanser, application of Drop of Hope soap for a foaming cleanse, and the use of a firming and brightening Ayesha face mask. Additionally, the therapist incorporated tension-relieving techniques for the neck and head, followed by the application of Full of Grace facial serum for a radiant finish.
The facial massage focused on sculpting the facial contours with a mix of facial exercises and massage movements, concluding with uplifting cold therapy to refresh and invigorate the skin.
To complete the treatment, a luxurious moisturizer was applied, leaving the skin with a healthy glow. Each step of the process contributed to an incredibly relaxing experience, enhanced by the soothing ambiance and skilled therapist.
Following the treatment, guests are encouraged to take their time to fully re-energize in a dedicated relaxation area and enjoy a specially prepared drink. The post-treatment experience extends to the Lush Shampoo bar, where personalized hair care services are offered, providing a holistic pampering experience.
The comprehensive services offered at the Lush spa go beyond traditional spa treatments, offering a serene and pampering experience in a high street setting. Despite the premium pricing, the attention to detail and quality of service provided by the staff make it a worthwhile indulgence. I look forward to revisiting this exceptional spa soon.
