Freeview Faces Uncertain Future Amid Streaming Surge

Freeview’s future is uncertain as more households are transitioning to streaming services, potentially leading to a decline in traditional aerial usage. Adding to the competition, the Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer, powered by Freely, has made a comeback with enhanced viewing options.

The Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer, utilizing Freely technology for online content consumption, quickly sold out upon its recent release due to consumer interest. However, it is now back in stock to meet the high demand it has generated.

In a significant development, the Aero will now include HBO Max, offering a wide range of content from HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros., DC, and more, consolidated in a single app. Popular TV shows like The Last of Us, House of the Dragon, and blockbuster movie franchises such as Harry Potter and Batman will be available on HBO Max.

Subscribing to HBO Max for premium content on the Aero comes at an additional cost, starting from £4.99 per month. Nevertheless, users can still access a variety of free content through Freely, including over 50 live TV channels, on-demand shows, voice search, tailored recommendations, a comprehensive TV guide, and live TV pause feature.

Manhattan’s COO, Alex Arbab-Zadeh, expressed confidence in meeting the demand for the Aero and highlighted the value of HBO Max’s addition to the device. The Aero is currently priced at £89.99 and can be purchased from retailers like Currys, Argos, and John Lewis.
