Last year, Clarkes of Sussex closed its Brighton branch after 25 years of service, while it continues to operate other stores throughout Sussex, including one in Haywards Heath. Another store under different ownership, Clarkes in Lewes, is also scheduled to close in March.
The owner of Clarkes of Sussex, Jay Patel, shared a heartfelt message regarding the closure on social media.
