After the recent season of “The Rehearsal,” fans may be curious about Nathan Fielder’s latest endeavors. The Vancouver-born comedian has unveiled a teaser for his upcoming project – a documentary focusing on Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, who was convicted of fraud in 2022. Fielder collaborated with filmmaker Lance Oppenheim on the film titled “You Can See Everything,” which chronicles the events leading to Holmes’s 2023 imprisonment.
Lance Oppenheim, known for his works like “Spermworld” (2024) and “Some Kind of Heaven” (2020), partnered with Fielder on this project. Fielder gained fame through “Nathan For You” and his appearances on CBC’s “This Hour Has 22 Minutes.” The documentary, distributed by A24, features a distinctive visual style and an intense one-minute conversation between Fielder and Holmes.
The documentary trailer was revealed at a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival, garnering positive reactions from critics. Daniel Howat described it as a “hysterical, shocking, insane documentary,” while Erik Nordgren hailed it as the best film of the year. The film’s buzz evokes memories of a past uncomfortable interview conducted by Fielder in 2008.
“You Can See Everything” is scheduled for a theatrical release next month, offering audiences a deep dive into the controversial story of Elizabeth Holmes.
