Prince Andrew Denies Epstein Sex Abuse Allegations

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has denied any involvement in the sex abuse allegations against him in connection with Jeffrey Epstein. He pleaded with Epstein to publicly exonerate him in an email exchange in March 2011 amid growing criticism of his association with Epstein. The email chain, which also included Ghislaine Maxwell and two lawyers, was triggered by a newspaper inquiry regarding accusations involving Andrew and a complainant believed to be Virginia Giuffre.

Expressing his shock and denial, Andrew implored the recipients to clarify that he had no knowledge of the situation and distanced himself from the allegations. Subsequently, a separate email thread revealed that the UK’s former Ambassador to the UK, Peter Mandelson, discouraged Epstein from granting an interview to the BBC in response to a request related to stories about Epstein and Prince Andrew circulating inaccurately.

Andrew has been under intense scrutiny following allegations by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she was trafficked by Epstein and coerced into a sexual relationship with him, allegations Andrew vehemently refutes. After a civil settlement with Giuffre, Andrew was stripped of his “prince” title by King Charles and is being evicted from Royal Lodge. Despite admitting to past interactions with Epstein, including visits to his properties, Andrew maintains he has no recollection of meeting Giuffre and would testify under oath if legally advised to do so.
