Strictly Come Dancing’s Icon Week aired as the first live show following the surprising announcement of the hosts’ departure after an 11-year tenure.
All attention was on Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as they graced the dance floor. Speculation arose about whether they would address their impending exit and reveal any emotions from what must have been a challenging week.

Despite having made a pact to leave together, the decision reportedly took producers and crew by surprise, even though insiders suggest that Tess and Claudia had been contemplating this move behind closed doors for about a year.
A television source revealed that the duo aimed to exit the show on a high note while it remains popular. Timing the announcement mid-series allows them to bid farewell gracefully without overshadowing the season’s eventual winner.
As the evening unfolded, former footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink bid farewell to Strictly Come Dancing following an unexpected dance-off. Despite his best performance to date with partner Lauren Oakley, they were eliminated in favor of West End star Amber Davies and her partner, Nikita Kuzmin.
Reflecting on the experience, Jimmy expressed his unexpected enjoyment, while Amber took to social media to share her mixed emotions following the elimination.
