“Rory McIlroy Reveals Exclusive Masters Champions Dinner Menu”

The upcoming Masters Champions Dinner, considered the most exclusive event in golf, is just around the corner. Rory McIlroy, the defending champion, recently disclosed the menu for the prestigious gathering, featuring his mother’s specialty appetizer of Rosie’s dates stuffed with goat’s cheese.

McIlroy clinched the Green Jacket last year after a thrilling final round victory over Justin Rose, completing his career Grand Slam. As part of his champion’s privileges, McIlroy will oversee the iconic champions dinner at Augusta National next month, with Scottie Scheffler adhering to his own set guidelines.

During the recent menu reveal event, McIlroy presented the dinner options, including a choice between Wagyu Filet Mignon and seared salmon for the main course. The event, known as the Masters Club Dinner, is a highly exclusive affair in the world of sports, limited to past Green Jacket winners.

Traditionally, the defending champion selects the menu for the dinner. In 2025, Scottie Scheffler curated a menu featuring cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp, and “Papa Scheff’s meatball and ravioli bites,” with a humorous nod to a previous Christmas Day mishap. The following courses included a Texas-style chilli, wood-fired cowboy ribeye or blackened redfish, and warm chocolate chip skillet cookies with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert.

Past champions have presented a variety of unique menus at the event. For instance, Hideki Matsuyama’s Japanese-inspired feast in 2022 received accolades for dishes like sushi, sashimi, and Miyazaki wagyu beef ribeye. Notably, Sir Nick Faldo, a three-time Green Jacket winner, once served a simple fish and chips meal following his 1996 victory.

Despite occasional eccentric menus, Faldo describes the dinner as a “special” evening, filled with nostalgia, laughter, and camaraderie among past champions. The event provides a platform for sharing stories and creating memorable experiences, making it a cherished tradition in the golfing world.
