Man Beheaded and Cannibalized in Alien-Fearing Tragedy

A man expecting a child tragically fell victim to a horrific incident where he was beheaded and cannibalized by another individual who believed he was safeguarding humanity from extraterrestrial beings.

Tim McLean, a Canadian carnival worker, was en route to Winnipeg to visit his pregnant girlfriend when Vincent Weiguang Li entered the scene. Li, described as agitated by passengers, initially sat quietly at the front of the bus. However, he later moved to the back where Tim was dozing against the window.

In a shocking turn of events on July 30, 2008, Li carried out a violent attack on Tim, resulting in the removal of Tim’s ear, tongue, and nose, which were later discovered in Li’s possession. Despite the efforts of a young veteran and the bus driver to intervene, Li’s frenzy continued unabated, culminating in him displaying Tim’s severed head to onlookers and consuming parts of his flesh.

Upon police arrival, Li was apprehended after attempting to flee and claiming he was following instructions from a divine voice to save people from alien invasion. Subsequently, Li was deemed not criminally responsible due to mental illness and institutionalized at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre.

Despite the tragic outcome, Tim’s family continues to grapple with the aftermath, with his mother expressing the enduring pain caused by the senseless act. In a surprising development, Li, now known as Will Lee Baker, has been granted an absolute discharge and resides in a Manitoba community.

Tim’s legacy endures through his son, born posthumously, whom his mother regards as a divine blessing.
