Three individuals, including one adult and two children, lost their lives in a tragic collision involving a truck and another vehicle. The incident took place in the western region of Melbourne on Tuesday, November 11, around 9:30 am local time.
According to Victoria Police, one other adult sustained severe injuries and is set to be airlifted to a medical facility. The truck driver suffered minor injuries, as per the police statement, which indicated that the vehicle had rolled over and been severely damaged.
The area in Stoneleigh, situated approximately 200 kilometers west of Melbourne, was blocked off as emergency responders attended the scene. Police and emergency personnel are currently managing the situation, with surrounding roads closed off.
