Paedophile Jeffrey Epstein was revealed to have expressed support for far-right activist Tommy Robinson and shared offensive Holocaust “jokes” in newly disclosed private emails obtained by US lawmakers.
In one email, Epstein congratulated Robinson on his release from jail in 2018, referring to him as “good work.” Another message from Epstein referenced the Kristallnacht event with a disturbing comment about a large fire. He also made a shocking remark inviting participation in an event related to Auschwitz during the 2018 mid-term elections.
The recently released documents, which initially gained attention for mentions of Donald Trump and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, shed light on a previously undisclosed aspect of Epstein’s connections to Right-wing movements in both the US and Europe. The emails demonstrate Epstein’s extensive political network that spanned across continents.
Epstein corresponded with various prominent figures, including American politicians, European diplomats, and individuals from Russia to Saudi Arabia, discussing strategies to fuel a resurgence of populist movements in Europe. One notable contact was Steve Bannon, who received advice from Epstein on advancing conservative movements and making strategic personnel changes within the Trump administration.
Regarding a plan to bolster far-Right parties in the 2019 European Parliament elections, Epstein emphasized the need for significant personal engagement and time investment. He also suggested the removal of certain Trump administration officials, highlighting Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner as individuals who should be ousted.
Throughout the released correspondence, Epstein portrayed himself as a global influencer with access to influential leaders. He boasted of interactions with Arab League figures and even mentioned receiving gifts from Mohammed bin Salman, the current Saudi crown prince.
Epstein positioned himself as a go-between with the Kremlin as well, proposing a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and himself ahead of a critical Trump-Putin summit. As scrutiny intensified in late 2018, Epstein framed himself as a target in a broader political agenda aimed at undermining Trump.
In response to an associate’s comment about efforts to discredit Trump, Epstein suggested that he possessed information capable of jeopardizing the president. Epstein’s life ended in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, officially ruled as a suicide.
