CBS Media Ventures unveiled a preview on Thursday for “Adam’s Law,” a fresh syndicated daytime courtroom series featuring Adam Levy, the 58-year-old son of the renowned Judge Judy. Levy, known for his quick-witted and sharp remarks, appears to embody the same courtroom vigor as his mother, Judith Sheindlin. Sheindlin, in the trailer, humorously acknowledges that she initially hesitated to pass on the gavel to her son, admitting that she wasn’t ready to relinquish her role and acknowledging Levy’s talent, which she jokingly fears might outshine her own.
Scheduled to debut on September 14, the new show, executive produced by Sheindlin, comes five years after the conclusion of the original “Judge Judy” series, which ran for 25 successful seasons on CBS. Levy, with over 25 years of legal experience, including stints as a district attorney and educator, emphasizes the importance of truthfulness on “Adam’s Law.”
