“Tragic Death of Disney Enthusiast at Resort”

Heart-wrenching revelations have surfaced regarding the passing of a devoted Disney enthusiast, as witnesses recount the harrowing moment they were startled by a loud noise at the resort.

Summer Equitz, aged 31, tragically took her own life after traveling solo from Illinois to Disney World Florida, without her family. She leaped from a 12th-floor balcony in front of onlookers and staff at the Contemporary Resort on October 14.

A married couple staying at the hotel recalled the heartbreaking scene when Summer landed a mere 30 feet away from where they were standing on the fourth-floor observation deck. An Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy incident report, obtained by local media, detailed the couple hearing a loud noise and seeing a woman on the ground close by.

One of the witnesses approached to check the woman’s condition but sadly, she showed no signs of breathing. Concurrently, a hotel staff member, who had been on the 15th-floor deck with a colleague, witnessed Summer’s fatal fall from three floors above. Upon reaching the 12th floor, the staff member found a blue tote bag near the railing, according to The New York Post.

Information from Summer’s LinkedIn profile revealed her past employment as a character performer and entertainment host at Disneyland Anaheim from 2012 to 2015. She and her husband, Nicholas Danlovich, celebrated their honeymoon at Walt Disney World just a year prior. Additionally, Summer had shared a photo posing with Bob Iger, the CEO of the Walt Disney Company, captioning it as the pinnacle of her life.

Sadly, ten months before her tragic demise, Summer had announced her pregnancy, sharing an ultrasound image, as reported by the Sun. She posted a picture beaming with joy alongside her husband, holding the baby scan in their home kitchen. This joyful announcement followed their Disney honeymoon in Orlando, where the tragic incident occurred.

This unfortunate event unfolded shortly after another incident at Disneyland in California, where a woman in her 60s passed away after experiencing the Haunted Mansion ride. Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to the park on October 6, finding the woman unresponsive after the ride.

Despite Disneyland security providing CPR and transporting her to a local hospital, the woman was later pronounced deceased.
