Kira Cousins, a 22-year-old from Airdrie, Scotland, recently admitted that her newborn daughter was actually a Reborn baby doll. Despite sharing photos of baby scans and hosting a gender reveal party, she managed to deceive her loved ones into believing the doll was a real baby. When confronted by her family, Kira confessed that even the baby’s father and his family were unaware of the deception.
A close friend, Neave McRobert, uncovered the truth by noticing Kira’s sudden deletion of all photos and videos of the doll named Bonnie-Leigh. The friend’s suspicions were confirmed when the baby’s father admitted that the infant was indeed a doll. Kira even went to the extreme of fabricating a story about the doll’s death to maintain the charade.
A family friend expressed shock at the revelation but admitted to having doubts about Kira’s pregnancy from the beginning, labeling her as a habitual liar. Describing instances where Kira’s fake pregnancy was evident, the friend highlighted the inconsistencies in Kira’s appearance and behavior before the doll’s appearance.
