“Lottery Winner Keeps £15M Secret from Son”

A man who used to work at a factory and won a £15 million lottery jackpot has shared that he has not informed his son about his significant windfall. Alain, now living a luxurious retired life, has purchased a villa and five high-end cars following his win but has chosen to keep his son unaware of his newfound wealth.

Alain, a Frenchman, was in the process of moving to a new house when he discovered his jackpot after years of playing the lottery using his family’s birthdates as lucky numbers. Despite seeing the life-changing amount on the screen, Alain remained composed and focused on his house move, deciding to wait and see what the next day would bring.

After confirming his win, Alain quit his job in the automotive industry and bought his dream home, a renovated villa with a swimming pool. He also indulged in five cars, including a Porsche and an Aston Martin, along with a few watches. The millionaire has invested parts of his fortune and now earns ten times more than his previous factory wage.

While Alain shared the news with his sister, he intentionally chose not to disclose the windfall to his son. He mentioned that he wants his son to keep working and not be influenced by the sudden wealth. Despite this, Alain has treated his son to luxury vacations post his lottery win. Similar to Alain, another lottery winner who won £7.6 million in the United States also kept his win a secret from family members due to concerns about extravagant spending.

In a separate incident in 2019, a Jamaican lottery winner wore a Scream mask to conceal his identity while collecting a prize of nearly £1 million. He expressed his intention to use the money to buy a house.
