Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at CES in Las Vegas. This upgraded version of the previous Freestyle projector boasts enhanced AI features, brighter images, and expanded entertainment choices.
The standout feature of the Freestyle+ is its simplified setup process. With Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, the projector automatically adjusts the picture to match its surroundings, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This feature allows users to easily start watching their favorite Netflix shows or Disney+ movies on almost any wall.
AI OptiScreen also introduces several intelligent functions to enhance image quality in various environments. These include 3D Auto Keystone for correcting image distortion on uneven surfaces, Real-time Focus to maintain sharpness while moving the projector, Screen Fit for automatic image sizing with compatible screens, and Wall Calibration for adjusting image quality based on the projection surface.
These smart features aim to streamline the projector setup process and improve user experience. The Freestyle+ remains portable, equipped with a built-in speaker, Wi-Fi connectivity, and access to popular streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video.
According to Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, the Freestyle+ aligns with Samsung’s commitment to creating adaptable displays that cater to people’s lifestyles. The device offers true portability combined with intelligent AI technology for optimized viewing experiences anywhere.
While pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Freestyle+ is expected to hit stores early in 2026.
